Online registration will open on August 1st 2014 and remain opened until midnight August 24th 2014 @ this link – https://registration.hockeycanada.ca/registration/?ID=2335
It is easy to register on line-and it sure beats the lineup at walk in registration. Simply have your player’s Health Card number ready, follow the link, for those who have register online in previous years- sign in, anyone using the system for the first time, register with the email address in which you received this email as it is on the one associated with your player on the Hockey Canada Registry, pick your player(s), - then pick your options – Division, Conditioning Camp, Tryouts. Pay by credit card, or drop your cheques in the mail or at the walk-in registrations. Cash Payments will also be accepted at walk-in registration. If paying by cheques/cash you will be sent you a receipt via email once payment has been received (see below for payment schedule). If you have problems, feel free to contact me.
Anyone needing help calculating registration cost, or third child discounts, please contact me and I will make the adjustments required so you can register online.
While we would encourage you to use the online registration, we have scheduled two (2) walk in registrations: at the Old School House – 7962 Hwy #7 Musquodoboit Harbour
1. Wednesday August 20th 6:00 – 8:00pm
2.Sunday August 24th 4:00 – 6:00 pm
Registration Pricing
Please note: Registration Price increased this Season $50/player as WE (ESMHA) have embarked on an exciting fund-raising opportunity. ESHMA has partnered with the Lake Echo Lions Club in an effort to help them, help us. Once teams are established, each player will receive $50 worth of tickets. These tickets can then be sold giving parents the opportunity to recoup the $50 price increase charged on their sons/daughter registration. The Prize Package, ticket printing and advertisements are being handled by the Lions Club; ESMHA will receive 100% of the profit for this fundraiser.
Prize Package for these tickets include: Airfare for two (2), Accommodations, tickets to attend two (2) World Jr Games and $200 cash for transportation between airport and hotel all in Montreal on New Year’s Eve 2014.
All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly toward new jerseys. Jerseys are being ordered based on necessity, so it is possible that not all teams/players will receive new jerseys this season. More information on ticket distribution and collection will follow once the season gets underway.
Also Note: That a $50 late fee will be added to all registrations after August 24th.
Payment for Conditioning Camp and Try-out are due on or before September 1st 2014.
Payment Options/Schedule
Payment in full can be made with a Visa or MasterCard online at time of Registration. Once you have completed your online registration, you are NOT able to sign back in to make payment, therefore if you are planning to pay with credit card, be prepared when registering.
Postdated Cheque Option: All Payments including postdated cheques must be received no later than August 24th 2014. Postdated cheques can be dropped off during walk in registration or via Canada Post (please insure you leave ample time for them to arrive)

If you or someone you know could benefit –
KidSport™ is a national children's program that helps kids overcome the financial barriers preventing or limiting their participation in organized sport.
KidSport must be applied for before Sept 1, 2013.
If you have applied for KidSport then you will be required to pay the difference between the maximum that KidSport offers and the actual registration cost for your child’s level. This can be done in three equal payments with postdated cheques.

Intending to try-out for AA at another Association – Please read below and follow the expected HNS procedure.
Any Player who intends to try out for AA or AAA at another Association will first need to register with ESMHA; this includes any player trying out for the first time at another association and those who may have previously played outside of ESMHA.
I will be excepting try-out requests after August 1st 2014, once the player has been registered with ESMHA.
You will be notified via email once your request has been approved by HNS.
Anyone needing more information on the AA or AAA tryout process please feel free to ask.
RESPECT IN SPORT PARENT PROGRAM
Effective with the 2013-14 hockey season, ALL PARENTS of newly registered players with
Hockey Nova Scotia regardless of level must take the Respect in Sport Parent Program.

- Try-Outs $55.00 Offered to players from Atom – Midget wanting to play at the Rep Hockey Level, there is no fee for those playing Recreational Hockey.
